Last year I was subbing, and I went to the school I'd worked at the last two years to pick up some things I'd loaned a 4th grade teacher. On my way out, a kid from third grade came and gave me a present. He'd been carrying it around all week hoping I'd be there. I felt so special - especially since I hadn't taught him the year before! - not quite my classroom or interesting, but along the same lines. :)

ReplyDeleteNot really interesting, but funny: A student was looking at a book about New York City and asked "What is this place?". I replied "That is the Empire State building." The student then asked "What do they do in the Vampire State building?".
ReplyDeleteNot really interesting but super exciting!!! My class is absolutely wonderful this year!! After the year from you know where last year, I am so ready for a class who listens and follows directions! :)
